DVNO is of course the voice of the title of Justice of the same name and the first part of their concert tour this year. But this musician, producer, composer, or even DJ, has also always been passionate about skateboarding. A passion he shares with his childhood neighbours, DJ Pone with whom he founded the Scenario Rock group, or Benjamin Deberdt with whom he collaborates on the magazine Live.
American photographer, Patrick O'Dell reveals his documentary style during his years as a young skateboarder emigrated to San Francisco. He ends up working for Thrasher magazine, before moving to New York and Vice magazine for which he developed the program the most watched on VBS.TV, epicly Later'd, who painted the portrait of iconic skateboarders (this summer : Eric Koston). In addition, Patrick has made clips for Morrissey, Panda Bear, No Age, Wavves, or Appaloosa, but he also participated in the retrospective "Spike Jonze: 80 years" organized at MOMA.

The Nozbone Benchmark Contest is the rendez-vous of the parisians skaterboaders, and will happen sunday, september 23rd, around noon, at Diderot University (a.k.a esplanade Pierre Vidal-Nacquet). Screenings of the winning films and introduction of the Parisii project
The Parisii teaser video project will be released at the awards ceremony in the presence of the jury (Benjamin Deberdt, DVNO, Patrick O'Dell, Dan Magee, and Lance Mountain), after the screening of the winning films. Parisii, it's first two videographers with a common idea: show spots of Paris through its 20 districts. Each month a district will be highlighted on the website Live Skateboard Media. A new point of view on the capital, thought, filmed and edited by Olivier Fanchon and Greg Dezecot. Parisii is produced by Live Skateboard Media and supported by Nike.

An exclusive exhibition going through 10 years of Nike SB will feature saturday, september 22nd, from 3 pm to 7 pm, at Nike Stadium Paris. You should find out dedicated and charismatics skateboarders, lots of photographs, movies, ads, technologies and, of course, mythic shoes : from the first Jordan to the last Eric Koston promodel, they definitely had a strong influence in its time. The exhibition is a collaboration with Made For Skate and the Museum of skateboard history and culture of Stuttgart. A unique event, come to The Video Days to see it!
